Gold Bridges Inc. Frequently Asked Questions
Foreign Skilled Workers
- How much to do you charge for foreign worker recruitment services?
-
Our fees will vary from client to client, depending upon the number and type of skilled workers required. We are definitely cost-effective and very competitive. We save you money and time while providing value and expertise in delivering quality results. Our fees are negotiable based on several factors so contact us with your specific needs and we will provide a customized quotation promptly.
- What is the difference between a retained search and a non-retained search?
-
A retained search is one in which a search/recruitment fee retainer is agreed up front and a contracted, guaranteed fee is paid over the life of the contract. This guarantees candidates will be presented in a cost-effective manner, as fees cover the costs incurred upfront by Gold Bridges.
In a non-retained search, the employer pays no fees unless a suitable candidate is found and hired. Retained searches guarantee a specialist recruiter time will be focused on filling your position because both parties make an investment of time and resources.
- Why would I use a retained search when I could use a different kind of service?
-
It is the policy of Gold Bridges to recruit candidates in a time and cost effective manner. A retained search guarantees a recruiter specialist time is devoted to your human resource needs until all required candidates are placed. If you have a position that requires a rapid turnaround [regardless of the level of position], or, if you have a specialized need that may require extra paperwork or research, a retained search is definitely the better option.
Retained searches are preferred where shortages of skilled trades workers necessitate prompt action and constant attention to the recruiting process. Searches outside of Canada have become routine now for exceptionally difficult to fill positions in the specialized industries in Western Canada, and preparing a roster of suitable candidates for referral to you involves many hours of careful screening and liaison with the foreign country involved.
We have an extensive database of pre-screened, experienced workers awaiting direct referral to your company!
- Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?
-
Yes. Our guarantee means that if we place a candidate with your company and you find that they are not working out as expected within the first phase of employment, we will replace that candidate.
This critical guarantee is in writing on every recruiting agreement we present.
- Do I have to sign an agreement?
-
We have a standard recruitment agreement prepared which outlines: (a) the services you want us to provide, (b) the anticipated timeline, (c) our fee agreement for the described tasks, (d) our guarantee and, (e) all other relevant information and any extraordinary services you have requested. A signed agreement is usually to the employer advantage and clarifies expectations on both sides. We pride ourselves in giving a clear advantage to our clients.
A personal consultation with one of our experts would give you a better understanding of how we can meet your needs. Contact us for more information or a customized needs assessment and fee for service quotation.
